SkillsUSA National Championships Competitions

Who is Eligible:  Students who are members of SkillsUSA may compete in local, state, and national competitions.

Deadline: National scholarships are held the end of June. For details, call 703-777-8810 or visit www.skillsusa.org.   Winners of the SkillsUSA competition may contact Julie Walsh at The Art Institutes at 1-800-275-2440 for scholarship details.

Range of Award:  National scholarship awards in Advertising, Design, Culinary, and Photography for championship winners: first place ($20,000 tuition scholarship), second place ($5,000 tuition scholarship), and third place ($2,500 tuition scholarship).  National scholarship awards in 3-D Visualization and Animation, Web Design and Television Production for championship winners:  first place ($10,000 tuition scholarship), second place ($5,000 tuition scholarship), and third place tuition scholarship ($2,500).  Each Art Institutes has a limited number of scholarships.  Winners are permitted to choose The Art Institutes location of their choice and scholarship will be awarded on a first,-come, first-served basis.
