Terms/Conditions: Entrants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0.  An applicant must first submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on a specified topic.  Finalists will be selected based on this essay.  Once finalists are selected and notified, a mandatory meeting will be held, during which finalists will be given a series of instructions and a stipend to cover competition expenses.  The competition goal is to create a visually interesting in-store display featuring a prom dress which is provided to the finalist.  Finalists will have a specified amount of time to plan the construction and design of the display.  Displays will be constructed on the day of the competition, and all winners will be honored at a public awards reception on the day of the competition.  Tuition scholarships will be applied to enrollment at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh only. Funds will be distributed evenly over the term of enrollment. In order to activate the scholarship, winners must complete the application and enrollment process with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Admissions Department.  

Range of Award: $10,000 (1st place); $5,000 (2nd place); $3,000 (3rd place); and $1,000 (4th place).
