The Art Institute of Charleston believes that continued contact with alumni is important and maintains an ongoing relationship through periodic events, mailings, newsletters, email, and exhibitions. For graduates and alumni anticipating an employment change or for those who may have become unemployed, the Alumni Connections Online Community offers a Career Center where alumni can post their résumés and search for job opportunities throughout the United States. This site also offers an online directory, a permanent email address, a calendar of events, a virtual marketplace with alumni discounts, and more. The career services department can conduct an evaluation of career experience for alumni and give professional direction to career endeavors. The departments at all satellite and branch campuses are also in contact with other Art Institutes and can give feedback on markets throughout the country.
