Position Summary: The New England Institute of Art is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in the Media Arts & Animation department with a specialty in 2D/traditional animation. The faculty member will instruct and facilitate meaningful learning in the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the learning environment. Provide ongoing career education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility, life-long learning, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

Position Requirements:

• Masters degree required.
• 10+ years professional experience in the field.
• 5 years teaching experience at the college level preferred.
• A strong portfolio with a concentration on 2D animation.
• 5+ years of professional 2D/traditional animation experience required.
• Expertise in Adobe Flash a must.
